Hunsdon Ducklings Preschool Staff

Gill Lewis, has been with us from the very beginning and is our Pre-school Leader.

She holds a Diploma in Child Development and Early Childhood Education and an NVQ3 in Early Years Care and Education. Having attended the required courses Gill is also our designated Safeguarding Children Officer and our SENCO Co-ordinator.

Lynn Barnett, joined us just over 18 months ago as a Pre-School Assistant and this term has taken on the role of Pre-School Deputy.  Lynn holds an NVQ3 in Early Years Care and Education and is currently worked towards her Foundation Degree in Early Years Care.

Sam Foster, was a volunteer and committee member before joining us 6 years ago as a Pre-School Assistant.  She holds a NNEB qualification.

Jo Goodman, joined us 4 years ago and has supported children within the setting with special educational needs.  Jo holds an NVQ3 in Early Years Care and Education. She has recently taken on the role of Special Educational Needs Assistant giving her increased responsibility within her role and works with our SENCO Co-ordinator.

Jen Simpson was a familiar face at the pre-school as our committee chair and also as a volunteer during the morning sessions.  Jen holds a Diploma in the Children and Young People's Workforce qualification. Jen has now stepped down from committee to take on the role of Pre-School Supervisor .  She will be working during several morning sessions and will run our two afternoon play sessions.  As she holds a degree she is now planning to work towards her Early Years Professional Status.

Vanessa Povey, joined us 2 and a half years ago to assist Gill Lewis in running our breakfast club.
